The situation
The founder had done the hard part of early validation: a working prototype, real interest, and a clear marketplace concept. What they did not have was a product safe enough to take money.
The vibe-coded codebase mixed real logic with mock paths, left security gaps open, and behaved inconsistently under real usage. Shipping it as-is would have meant launching on hope.
What we did
Centered took ownership of the codebase and separated signal from scaffolding. Mocked paths were replaced or removed. Authentication, data handling, and payment-adjacent flows were brought up to a production bar.
We completed the features required for a real launch — not a wishlist of nice-to-haves, but the paths that let buyers and sellers complete transactions without the team babysitting every edge case.
Through launch and early onboarding, we stayed close to the founder so production issues could be resolved while momentum was still fresh.
The result
The marketplace launched as a secure, production-ready product and generated approximately $60,000 in revenue in its first month.
The founder kept the speed advantage of building with AI tools — without carrying the hidden debt that usually shows up the week after launch.
